At a certain point, getting kicked out stopped being bad luck and became our personality. Quietly disappearing was never really our thing.
They changed our locations.They never stopped the Zuma community.

Born at Zuma Beach
When the Malibu Civic Center gathering closed, most people might have taken the hint. Steve Goldfield took Pacific Coast Highway north instead.
He spotted Lot “A” at Zuma Beach, called some friends and held the first gathering. More than 200 cars arrived. Apparently, subtle was never going to be the Zuma style.

More than cars
The friendships are the real attraction.
Somewhere between being kicked out and finding the next parking lot, Zuma grew into drives, rallies, concerts, parties, charity gatherings and Zuma Cars & Tacos. RZA hosted a SiriusXM broadcast. Arnold Schwarzenegger visited. The original television Batmobile appeared.
The cars may attract the crowd, but the friendships—and perhaps curiosity about where we will end up next—keep people returning.
